BIOGRAPHY
I can remember having to write an autobiography in 3rd grade at The Nightingale-Bamford School in New York City. The final chapter was designated to our futures, to what we wanted to be. I wrote that I wanted to be a detective, or an actress. I found in high school that my greatest role was Maiden #3 in “Oklahoma!” in the 7th grade with our brother school, Allen-Stevenson. Perhaps the stage was not meant for me. However, upon graduating from the University of St Andrews in Scotland, I found it was time to nut up and give it a real shot. I dipped my toes into a program at the New York Film Academy and then at a summer conservatory at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. During my time at Stella Adler, I was accepted to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Two-Year Conservatory program and graduated after the most rewarding fifteen months of my life.
Over the following four years, I pursued acting in New York and was the lead in web series and short films, including "Writers" for Columbia University. I was also cast in a couple TV reenactments. I am most proud to say I performed Off-Broadway in two showcases as well as two Shakespeare productions in the Chernuchin Theatre at the American Theatre of Actor, which became a second home to me.
In 2017, I felt it was time for a change. I had lived in Manhattan my whole life, aside from college, and needed a change of scene. I also felt I had made my best effort in acting in New York, and although I am proud of the work I did there, I wanted to take my career to the next level in pursuit of representation, more paying work, and eventually joining SAG-AFTRA. I moved to Los Angeles and have been hustling here ever since.
I joined SAG and AEA. I was the lead in a short film "Jane" that ran the festival circuit in 2023, winning an Award of Excellence. Next on the agenda is continuing my sketch work with comedian Michael Somerville (David Letterman) this summer.
